How Did I Get Here?

After I discovered being a middle school math teacher didn't align with my goals, I ventured through the corporate world for the next decade of my life.

What felt like a zig-zagging path at the time, ultimately became switchbacks of  experience, skills, and self-realization to point me to this career.

Too often, my onboarding experiences were defined by poorly planned job shadows, dry reading materials, or trial by fire.  My frustrations turned to motivation to improve it for the next person, which often pulled me into training and leadership opportunities.  That's when I first heard of "Instructional Design"

... and I was hooked.

Click on the bouncing arrow below and walk through my professional career path.

Like a resume, I review my previous work experiences and highlight the key skills for each.  Unlike a resume, I focus on the lessons at each one that have had the biggest impact on my development.

Then continue past to see what others have to say about me and my work.

For my formal resume, please reach out and I'd be happy to send it to you!
